Hydro Here's the brief bio Hydro gave us:
Hydro was born in April 1997 whilst preparing songs in a home/studio. Federico Bruno (music composer and songwriter. Guitar, piano and drums player, 8/7/76, Rome), his brother Carlo Bruno (Leading guitar and bass player, 12/1/77, Rome) and Ecto (Ettore Apuzzo, keyboards player, 1/9/73).
After meeting with Riccardo Bovelli and playing in underground clubs in Rome (Magazzini Generali, Goa Club), the band moved to New York in April 1998. Hydro lived in Brooklyn for four months, rehearsing. They hired 'The Hit Factory Studio' in August 1998 for thirty days with Jack Delay (Lenny Kravitz's live bass player) and Manuela Borzi (Zucchero Fornaciari's drums player) in order to record six songs of the album. Soon after, the band moved into a home/studio in 38 Street for four months, to write and work on the rest of the album with the addition of four new songs. In January 1999, Hydro moved into another recording studio in Rome (Forum Music Village) for forty-five days with the help of the "Protools".
To master their album Pure Child, Hydro moved to London into the "Exchange Studio" with Mike Marsh on 15/5/99.
Since then, Hydro appeared on the British music website peoplesound.com and won the third position during April-May 2000 in their Rock Chart with the song: "Sinking". In their June-July issue, What MP3 Magazine enclosed a peoplesound.com CD ROM: The Big Five-O, Sinking is No.1 in peoplesound.com Rock chart.
The band is working out the second album (almost done) and they still improving the "Pure Child".
