Substance formed in July of 2000. A 5 piece from the Central Valley of California. Members are: LeAnn Jones-guitars, Jamie Avey-guitars, Nathan Williams-bass, Aubrey Irving-drums, Chris Tyler-vocals. We are the weirdos of the Central Valley. Our music has many changes with many influences. You can never tell where it's going. Influences: Primus, Tool, Carcass, Punjabi.
