Fallen Angelz
A Band from New York, New York who plays Urban music.

Here's the brief bio Fallen Angelz gave us:

Timothy Dark and his partner Alvarez, make up the new rap sensation the Fallen Angelz. The two were born and raised in the Bronx, Ny , and have combined to form the underground group Fallen Angelz, which many say is a match made in heaven, no pun intended. The two compliment each other, as well as the tracks created by underground super producer/songwriter Jules, who hails from the Lower East Side, or as he proudly calls it, the L.E.S.

Dark, born Timothy Dockery, a graduate of both Cardinal Hayes High School and Lehman College, began his rap career in the early nineties, as part of a group called the Conceited Ones. He later moved on to form the now defunct groups, The Fourth Dimension, A.W.O.L. (ALL WALKS OF LIFE), and Mulado. Alvarez, who he met in college, invited him to join his group, The Number Runners, which consisted of Alvarez, Sonny Black, and a female rapper Lady M. They recorded an album, produced by producer/promoter, Don Kameleon. Due to certain tension within the four, the group began to dissolve, and Tim went on to pursue his budding acting career. While securing small roles on Oz, Law and Order, Law and Order SVU, Third Watch, and the lead role of P-cock in the Nice Film production the Death Cartel, he reunited with Alvarez to form Fallen Angelz.

Alvarez, born Alberto Aponte, also embraced rap in the early nineties, when his group the Sin Assassins released a compilation album entitled Rev. Run Presents, on Reverend Run Records. Due to a faulty distribution deal, and to no fault of the artists featured on the album, it failed to reach its full potential. Alvarez, still determined to make his dream come true, formed The Number Runners. Taking on the roles of leader, manager, and artist, he led the group to the Promised Land. Within a matter of three months or less they had a completed cd, a clothing line endorsement, and were opening for headliners such as Black Rob, Nas, and Mobb Deep. But this was not enough to keep the group together, and from the ashes the Fallen Angelz were born.

Dark, who had worked with Jules for years, on his previous projects, told him about the Fallen Angelz project. In a matter of days Dark, Alvarez, and Jules, who they both consider a musical genius, began to work on the masterpiece. Sacrificing the nightclubs. expensive gear, and needless spending they were used to, they began to direct their finances toward building The Fallen Angelz empire. After four months of designing, producing, co-producing, and pressing, they finally sent copies of the album to a provider of distribution for independent artists called Cdbaby.com. The album’s flow of deep; conscience music soon began to leak out into the music world and into the ears of one D.J. Moet of the Bronx Giants, who features one of their songs, Amore de Calle on his new Cd.

In an attempt to promote the album, and make Fallen Angelz a household name, they joined other fellow unsigned artists at Le Bat Bat on Feb 5th for Don Kameleon’s, “Your Time to Shine”, and have begun a citywide college tour, which began March 30th, at the Lehman College Fashion Show. The tour is has included Albany, New Paltz, and Manhattanville College, and will filter down to South Beach, for the Labor Day festivities. Club Luna, and the New York Comedy Club also felt the heat, as the two rappers ignited the stage for Luna’s annual Spring Break Bash, and New York Comedy Club’s monthly, “Your Time to Shine”.

Alvarez and Dark still unsigned, journey on in search of a distribution deal. Thus is the way of the Fallen Angel.
