Pivotal is a heavy rock band from a small Florida town, near the Tallahassee area, called Perry. They represent confidence and respect. Their music reflects everyday people coping with the problems of life, hoping to give others much hope and encouragement. Pivotal shows high emotions and energy when performing onstage. They carry a huge sound with heavy riffs and hooking melodies that bring you right in. They are a young band, which continues to mature and gain experience in their music and lives, their birth years ranging from 1979-1981. Pivotal has been a band since January of 2000 but all have had prior band engagements. They have performed at various clubs and venues around Florida and Georgia, to name a few; Floyds music store, Cow Haus, Potbellies, and the Sweetshop in Tallahassee; Eddie C's and the Purple Porpoise in Gainesville, the July 4th Sunshine Festival on Saint Simons Island in Georgia and the world renowned Club La Vela, also performing at the battle of the bands held on the County Pier in Panama City Beach. Pivotal has recorded two tracks entitled “Rainy day” and “Lust”. Both tracks are receiving airplay on Tallahassee's WXSR X101.5. Pivotal is the 2001 Neverworld Records Battle of the Bands 1st Place Winner.
