Wendi is a singer and songwriter out of Shreveport, La. Wendi’s style is R&B, hip-hop, jazz, and a lot of soul.
Wendi recently released her first CD entitled “Southern Girl”. “Fooling Yourself” and “I Wanna Be Your Everything”, two singles from the CD is being played on KDKS 102.1 radio station in Shreveport, La and is getting good reviews from its audience. Cat Daddy the DJ at KDKS 102.1 has said this CD “is deemed to be a hit”. She is currently featured with Rhythm Warehouse, a local band in Shreveport, La. Rhythm Warehouse performs at local clubs, casinos, and opens for local acts. On December 14th Rhythm Warehouse performed at the Holiday Inn Adams Club in Shreveport, La and on December 31st the band opened for Tyrone Davis at the Municpal Auditorium also in Shreveport.

While in high school, Wendi played tenor sax in the school band and also sang in the school choir where she won superior honors in District, State and National competitions. At Grambling State University she won 1st place in numerous talent shows. Wendi also founded the New Vision Gospel Singers in 2000 that won 1st place in the National Convention Competition.
